Saving lives: Therapeutic approach to pleural and abdominal effusions in dogs and cats

This session will use clinical cases to exemplify the approach to patients presenting with effusions. We will review techniques for diagnostic and therapeutic thoracic and abdominocentesis, in addition to appraising adjunctive therapeutics and management strategies for these patients.
